Bourbon, Beer and Beyond Tours is the newest division of Weller Haus Bed, Breakfast & Event Center. We excel at offering “experiences” to all our customers–whether it be an overnight say at the Bed & Breakfast, utilizing our Event Center for a special occasion, hosting your Wedding and now offering regional tours to areas of interest in our luxury 9 passenger Mercedes Benz Sprinter Limousine.
Our Q&A section will assist in answering many of your questions, but you can contact us directly at email@example.com or call 859-391-8315 to discuss your tour needs and have any additional questions answered.
WHAT TOURS DO YOU OFFER?
Our most popular excursions include the Kentucky Bourbon Trail, Craft Brewery and Winery Tours. We also offer seasonal trips that include Keeneland during racing season as well as horse sale/auctions, Horse Farm tours, downtown Art Mural Tours, Holiday Light Tours and fun trips for foodies such as the Donut Trail! Ghost and Church Tours are on our horizon, but we are not quite ready to hit the road with those at this time.
ARE YOUR TOURS PRE-SET? IS THE TOUR SCHEDULE FLEXIBLE?
Currently, all tours are custom designed–you tell us your vision for a trip and we’ll work with you to make it happen–it is a complete, custom designed tour. The pricing will be dependent on your itinerary including distance, time, and entry fees for your destinations. We’re on your schedule–you don’t have to conform to a specific set time frame. We’ll quote you a price based on your requests and you can gather up to a total of nine guests for the trip. The more you have, the more cost effective per person.
WHAT TYPE OF VEHICLE IS USED FOR THE TOURS?
Our custom-designed 2019 Mercedes Benz Sprinter Limousine will get the group to your destination in comfort and style. Your luxury ride is equipped with both bench seating and captain’s chairs as well as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Apple TV, Fridge, Microwave, coolers and an on-board restroom.
DO YOU HAVE TO STAY AT THE BED & BREAKFAST TO BOOK A TOUR?
All tours are offered to the general public and no overnight stay is required. Guests that have booked a Bourbon Trail, Craft Beer or Winery Tour during the day ending in an overnight stay at the B&B have indicated it is one of the best ways to enjoy these tours.
If you book a tour in conjunction with an overnight stay, you will receive a 10% discounted rate on your room rate. If your group books all five guest rooms with a tour, you’ll receive an additional 10% discount on the tour pricing.
IS THERE A MINIMUM NUMBER OF PEOPLE REQUIRED FOR THE TOUR?
While all tours are custom-designed, depending on the request, we may quote a flat rate for the tour and therefore, the more people you have, the lower the cost per person. A two-person trip to three southern distilleries such as Wild Turkey, Buffalo Trace and Woodford Reserve is going to be more costly than if you were splitting it among a total of 9 guests.
However, for many local tours with a total driving distance of 50-75 miles, we will accept less than nine passenger capacity. For example, if you wanted to tour the Northern Kentucky distilleries at New Riff and Boone County Distilling, we will quote you a per person rate. The same would apply for local brewery and winery tours.
WHERE IS THE PICK UP POINT FOR THE TOURS?
The pick up point is at Weller Haus Bed, Breakfast & Event Center, 319 Poplar Street, Bellevue, KY 41073. Depending on where your tour is going, we may be able to pick you up on the way to your tour destination.
HOW DO WE PAY FOR THE TOUR?
We require a 50% credit card deposit at the time of booking. The balance is due 14 days prior to your tour date. If you are booking 14 days or less in advance of the trip, the entire fee is due at the time of booking.
Refunds are accepted 15 days or more prior to the trip date, less a 10% administrative fee and there are no refunds if cancelling 14 days or less in advance of the trip. If we have purchased tickets for a tour, we will refund based on the tour destination’s refund policy. Some do not provide refunds at all–others will provide them within a certain time frame.
WHAT HAPPENS DURING A WEATHER EVENT? ARE TOURS CANCELLED?
Our first priority is for the safety of our customers and drivers. Should a weather event prevail, Bourbon, Beer and Beyond Tours has the right to cancel and then reschedule the tour at a later date. We try to make this call as early as possible, based on weather forecasts, so as not to inconvenience any of our customers. In addition, if we must end a trip early due to weather related issues, we may reschedule to complete the trip at a future date, but there are no guarantees–it will depend on where we are on the trip.
