• Where is Weller Haus Bed, Breakfast & Event Center located?
  • We are located in Bellevue, Kentucky, just minutes across the river from downtown Cincinnati, Newport, Covington and Northern Kentucky’s most popular attractions.  We are located in a quiet residential urban neighborhood but remain close to extensive dining options, entertainment and sport venues as well as riverfront attractions.
• What makes Weller Haus different from a hotel?
  • We offer a more personal and memorable experience than a traditional hotel.  You will enjoy unique, private accommodations in each room, freshly prepared breakfast that you have chosen–delivered to your room, a beautiful garden setting and relaxing atmosphere that reflects the charm and history of Bellevue, Kentucky and the surrounding areas.
• What are your booking, deposit and cancellation policies?
  • You can book online 24/7 or call  859-391-8315 between 10am-8pm.  You will obtain the best rate by booking on our website as opposed to a third party provider. Make sure you are on wellerhaus.com when you book.
  • We require full payment for your entire stay at the time of booking and accept all major credit cards.
  • Our lowest rate offered is non-refundable with no date changes.
  • You can book two different types of refundable rates for an additional fee.
• Do you offer any discounted rates such as AARP, AAA,  or first responders? 
  • We believe that every customer deserves some type of discount, not just a customer that belongs to a group or has a specific career.  We have NO affiliation with any group so we offer discounted rates to every guest for an extended stay or when booking a non-refundable rate.
  • If you book an extended stay (more than one night), you will receive a $30 per night discount for all nights you stay with us.
  • By booking a Non-Refundable rate you can save between $50 and $100 per night.  There are NO REFUNDS or DATE CHANGES when booking a non-refundable stay except within the first 24 hours of booking.
  • Our discounted rates are shown to you at the time of booking and you will be shown the total rate (including taxes) prior to completing the reservation.
• Check In and Check Out Times
  • We are a contactless property  and all check-ins are self check in.  One day prior to your arrival you will be provided with information on what to do upon arrival.
  • Our check-ins begin at 3 pm and you can arrive anytime starting at 3 pm including into late in the evening.
  • Our check-out time is 11 a.m.
  • We do not offer any early check ins but if you do arrive early, please text us and if your room is ready you’re more than welcome to check in.
  • A late check out (no later than noon) may be available but cannot be confirmed until the morning of check out.  We only book one late checkout per day.  
• Is Breakfast included with my stay & do we eat in a dining room with others?
  • Yes, breakfast is included with every night of your stay and we deliver the breakfast to your room at the available time of your choice from 8:30-10 am.
• What type of breakfasts do your serve and can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
  • You will be able to choose from a menu that has approximately 10 items including both savory and sweet choices.  We offer an award winning Banana Pecan French Toast, Breakfast burrito, a variety of crustless quiche/tarts, Avocado Toast, pancakes and french toast to name a few.
  • All breakfasts include a choice of juice, a mixed fruit, main entree and a choice of a side.
  • We can accommodate vegetarian, vegan and gluten free but do need 48 hours advance notice.
  • For our gluten free guests–we are NOT a certified gluten free kitchen. If you’re gluten free and any contact with gluten could possible result in a life-threatening emergency, we are not the right property for you.  
• What time is breakfast served and can you accommodate a breakfast outside of the standard breakfast times.
  • Breakfast hours are from 8:30-10:00 a.m.  You will be provided with a link in your self check-in email where you can  select the time to have breakfast delivered to your room.
  • If you have an early departure before breakfast is served, we can provide you with a “to go” breakfast the night before that includes fruit, yogurt and a muffin.  We do need 48 hours notice to provide a “to go” breakfast.
• What amenities do you offer in your rooms?
  • All rooms have private bathrooms.  Three rooms have spa tubs for two.
  • Wi-fi is available in every room at no additional cost
  • Heating and Air conditioning are standard and each room has it’s own mini-split unit to be able to control the room temperature.
  • Every room has ceiling fans
  • Smart Tv’s with Direct TV is offered in every room.
  • Hair dryers, garment steamers and shampoo/conditioner/body wash are provided in each room.
  • There is no smoking inside any buildings.  There is a designated smoking area outside.
• Do you offer any food and beverages on site?
  • All Weller Haus guests have access to our “guest kitchen” that offers complimentary bottled water, snacks, and keurig coffee and tea stations.
• Is Free Parking Available?  Is Public Transportation Available?
  • Free parking is available on the street in front of the property.
  • Paid parking at $10.00 per night is available one house away and can be reserved at time of booking through wellerhaus.com.  
  • Public transportation on city buses is available about 2 blocks away from the property.
• Is your property family friendly?
  • The majority of our guests are staying here to enjoy quiet and relaxation, therefore we are an adults-only property.
  • If you reserve the entire property, we may be able to accommodate children. However, we can  only have 2 guests per room  based on the local fire regulations.
• Is your property pet friendly?
  • We have one room that is pet friendly, the Rendezvous Suite.  
  • We can accommodate dogs only, 25 lbs or less.
  • All dogs must be walked off the property for their potty breaks
• Is Weller Haus a good destination for a romantic getaway?
  • Weller Haus guests choose us specifically for their romantic getaways including anniversaries, honeymoons, birthdays, proposals, babymoons and weekend getaways.  Our charming accommodations and peaceful atmosphere make us one of the area’s favorite romantic destinations.
• Is Weller Haus suitable for couples?
  • Yes!  Weller Haus is especially popular with couples seeking a romantic bed and breakfast experience near Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky attractions.
• How Far is Weller Haus from Downtown Cincinnati?
  • Weller Haus Bed, Breakfast and Event center is located less than 10 minutes away (about 1.5 miles) and right across the river from downtown Cincinnati, making it the best bed and breakfast choice closest to downtown Cincinnati for visitors attending sporting events, concerts, conventions, weddings and local festivals.
• Is Weller Haus and good place to stay for Cincinnati Red, Cincinnati Bengals or FC Cincinnati games?
  • Yes–many guests stay here when attending Cincinnati Reds baseball games, Cincinnati Bengals football games or FC Cincinnati  soccer games–as well as concerts, festivals and special events.
• Do you host weddings and events?
  • Yes.  Weller Haus Bed, Breakfast & Event Center is available for micro weddings and receptions, elopements, bridal and baby showers, rehearsal dinners, private parties, corporate meetings and special events.
• Can I schedule a tour of your event spaces?
  • Absolutely.  We welcome inquiries from couples, event planners and organizations interested in hosting events.  We offer a unique setting where you can book the indoor space for your event but also enjoy our outdoor garden, patio and water features.  Contact us to arrange a tour and discuss availability.

  • Weller Haus Bed, Breakfast & Event Center is the most unique walkable accommodation and approximately 3/4 mile from the Newport Aquarium.  Guests choose Weller Haus due to it’s proximity to the Newport Aquarium,  Newport on the Levee, and greater Cincinnati attractions.
